Floods strike Pakistan again, one year later…

One year after devastating floods wreaked havoc on Pakistan, another one struck in August, leaving tens of thousands affected, homes damaged and more than 80% of crops destroyed.

Sewa Development Trust Sindh (SDTS), with financial support from the Canadian High Commission under the Canadian Fund for Local Initiative (CFLI) provided agricultural support and distribution of vegetable seed, fertilizer and toolkit in UCs Agra and Ripri Tehsil Gambat district Khairpur. Sewa Development Trust Sindh (SDTS) is working in the Sindh province of Pakistan which is located close to the Arabian Sea, and its main fresh water source is the Indus River.Due to a heavy monsoon season, Pakistan experienced the worst floods in its history, with heavy rainfall and flash floods.
